The x3: Redesigned For 2018

700 × 299

The x3 has been an integral part of the BMW lineup for almost 15 years and with 2018 right around the corner we will see some amazing updates. An exterior redesign, M Performance model and new technologies are just some of the changes to top our list! BMW of South Albany is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 2018 x3 and adding it to our already extensive list of available inventory.

While the overall appearance of the 2018 x3 hasn’t had drastic changes; there have been quite a few upgrades. The newest generation has updated headlights; they are no longer connected to the grille and they feature a more three-dimensional look; the fog lights received an updated shape as well! Facing the rear, consumers will notice more of an aero-dynamic slope and roof spoiler, which, adds to the visual interest.

While these amazing upgrades were made, the overall body proportions have been enhanced in addition to Aero Blades and BMW Air Curtains. These features regulate the flow of cooling air for the brakes, air conditioning, as well as the engine.

In addition to cosmetic changes, there are two new trim levels for consumers to choose between. The 2018 BMW x3 lineup now includes: xDrive30i and M40i. The xDrive30i can reach speeds up to 130 mph with a 2.0 liter twin-turbo in-line four engine. The M40i is the first M Performance variable for the x3 and offers 355 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque!

BMW didn’t stop there. The new 2018 x3 comes standard with three-zone automatic climate control with separate temperature controls in the back seating area! Optional features now include front ventilated seats, new ambient lighting and a 75 percent larger heads up display.

The 2018 BMW x3 is slated to make its dealership appearance in November 2017. If this isn’t enough to help you decide on the new BMW x3 as your next vehicle, come by BMW of South Albany! Our knowledgeable staff will help put you behind the wheel of your dream vehicle.
